Can you swim at Chinnor Quarry?

Is it legal for someone to swim at Chinnor Quarry? My friend did, but I was wondering if it was okay... Also, some people say the water there isn't really water, it's just acid or something and if you swim there you'll be in trouble with your health and stuff, but to me the water just appears to be water, and my friends swam there and they seem to be alive and well... Thanks for any answers! x

They are usually safe but not legal if private property. The main problem is they might get sued. It isn't likely to hurt you. You should be able to see some kind of life in the water. If it smelled bad, stay out.
