2x-3y=5 ….multiply by 1

x+2y=-l .... multiply by -2

2x-3y=5

-2x-4y=2 …..add two equations

-7y= 7

y=-1

substitute y=-1 in the second equation coz it is easier in order to get the x value

x+2y=-1

x-2=-1

x=1

So the solution is (1,-1)

2x-3y=5

x+2y=-l multiply by 2

2x+4y=-2

2x-3y=5 subtract

7y=-7 divide by 7

y=-1

substitute

x+2(-1)=-1

x-2=-1 add 2

x=1

solution is (1,-1)

check

2*1-3(-1)=5

2+3=5
