Classes to prepare for organic chemistry?

So I keep hearing that organic chemistry is one of the more challenging classes and was thinking about taking it just to say I did it. I'm an EE major but get tuition assistance through the military. What prerequisite classes should I take that are actually used in organic chemistry or are there no classes needed?

Depends what level of organic chemistry you want to take. For regular science majors who take two semesters of organic you would first have to take two semesters of general chemistry. For a one semester intro to Organic and Biochem an one semester intro to gen chem would be sufficient.
