f (x) 6x-5
not really sure how to start this. Do I plug (6,f(6) for x and solve?

You plug in 6 for x and see what f(x) is because for graphing purposes, f(x) = y. Then do that for 7 too.
f(6) = 36 - 5 = 31
f(7) = 42 - 5 = 37
So the line is between (6, 31) and (7, 37). Its slope is 37 - 31 over 7 - 6 = 6/1 = 6
Using point slope form, the equation is y - 31 = 6(x - 6)
