Does NADPH do any good in humans?

Would adding NADPH (produced during plant metabolism) - alongside the usual NADH - to a human's metabolism help continue the electron transfer chain? They both have the same oxidation potentials anyway...

I am somewhat confused by your question. Do you mean as a nutritional supplement, like a tablet? If this is what you mean, then, no, it would not help. The molecule is too large to cross the cytoplasmic membrane and then the mitochondrial membrane.
