Calculate the pH of this solution?

Calculate the pH of the aqueous solution of 0.1184 M Ba(OH2) (aq).

The answer is 13.38? But I got 13.07, how am I wrong?

For every molecule of Ba(OH)2, there are 2 OH- ions liberated in solution (Ba(OH)2 is a strong base).

Thus, the concentration of OH- is twice that of the actual compound:

0.1184 M * 2 = 0.2368 M

pOH = -log(0.2368M) = 0.6256

14 - pOH = pH = 14 - 0.6256 = 13.38
