Should I not use a product with Propylene Glycol in it?

I've heard it causes cancer. It's in a stretch mark cream

I'm becoming quite impressed with Cat Lovers answers. They're all spot on right.

Propylene glycol is indeedy considered safe for food additives and cosmetics. It is used in many many formulations that go in your mouth or on your body. And it used as coolants for things like vinegar production. To date, there are countless studies that show it's safe and non carcinogenic. And yes there are some people selling herbal remedies that claim propylene glycol is dangerous and being "studied". They make this claim to scare you into buying their products instead.

You can use the stretch mark cream safely.
