Unfortuanly yes. It is not all it's cracked up to be....When you are out on the streets at night, cold, hungry, tired and dirty you wonder if it can get any worse...
Thankfully that is no longer the case and I often think back with a shudder......
I haven't been so far,and I am a 53 year old man who has always managed to be able to work and have a place,but you never know what might happen in the future!,it would be a lonely and sad situation to be in !!
No, but I have worked in a shelter with homeless families. It's no picnic ! Tough to get back on your feet, but I've seen some remarkable women do the impossible, for the their own welfare and that of their children!
