I have to write a newspaper about events leading up to the Revolutionary War, and I need a name for it. I was thinking of naming it The Dunsboro Times (in Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, Victor Mancini works in Colonial Dunsboro), but I don't know if I feel like explaining the reference to my teacher.
So what is your vote? Should I go with The Dunsboro Times? Or do you have a better idea?
Thanks. :D

In colonial Williamsburg, which was the capital of Virginia from 1699-1801, their paper was the Williamsburg Gazette. I don't know if "gazette" was something used a lot in colonial days, but you could tell your teacher (if asked) about that paper. Dunsboro Gazette sounds good to me, as Dunsborough is an old and respected British name. But I can't see anything wrong with Dunsboro Times, if that's what you want to use.
Two links below - the first to show that the Virginia Gazette was truly around in pre-Revolutionary days, and the second to show that it's still around.
