Should I try to build a future in a another country?

I currently live in Brazil with a really crappy job giving English lessons. I get about US$4 to 7/hr and I have a BA from Rutgers so I think that I am worth more than my pay. Currently with the job market down in the States, should I stay here in Brazil and try to find a job with an American company and transfer back to the States? But there is no guarantee that i will find such job. Or should I go back to my old job as a after school consular and get paid more than I am at the moment and go back to school to try to become an ESL teacher in the States? What should I do? Gamble with trying to find a stable job here in Brazil or come back and go to school to become a teacher?
