Help with physics.??????

This is the first physics course I have taken; I know that I should have taken one in high school, but I can't change the past.

I have the following problem.

A rock falls from rest a vertical distance of 0.72 meters to the surface of a planet in 0.63 seconds. What is the magnitude of the acceleration due to gravity on the planet?

The answer is 3.6 m/s², but I keep getting 1.8m/s² instead.

Please explain.

s = so + vot - 1/2 g . t²

0 = 0,72 - 1/2g . (0,63)²

0 = 0,72 - 1/2g0,3969

-0,72 = -0,19845g

g = 0,72/0,19845

g = 3,62....m/s²
