It would require a damn lot of vitamin D. There are as of few studies on negative side-effects, however, if you were to consume >1250 micrograms (50.000IU) every day over several months you will acquire a poisonous effect. There are however plenty of deficiency side effects such as tiredness, depression, anxiety and loss of bone mass. New studies have shown that vitamin D probably plays a big role in many hormonic and biologic systems in the human body, hence you could be bitching with important functions by extreme consumption, although there aren't many research studies confirming it. Stay at the daily recommended amount. Both an extremely high and extremely low dose will be bad. As with everything.
