I was doing my chemistry homework, and I got this problem:

How many formula units are there in 22.6 grams of FeF3?

I know how to do the problem, but I don't know what a formula unit is.

formual unit is prentend the FeF3 is a molecule (but its and ionic solid)

so it would be 22.6 grams/(atomic weight Fe + 3 * atomic weight F)
