What is obedience to you? Why is obedience important for growth?

Obedience to the law enforces the concept that there are "greater goods" than your personal ones.

This is the very structure of society. Without a "greater good" concept, society crumbles.

There are lots of not very noble reasons (staying out of jail, for instance), but the idea that you obey the law simply to preserve society is extremely noble.

It is also not a reason you see very often.
