Sharks have exceptional senses right? So how do they successfully hunt other sharks with exceptional senses?

Some species of sharks will hunt and eat other sharks. Sharks have what like 7 senses? How can they not sense an attack coming? Or is it a case of not expecting an attack and being caught by surprise?

"exceptional" is not the same as "foolproof."

The only exceptional senses in sharks are the electrosensory pits on the nose (the Lampullae of Lorenzini) and their sense of smell. All fishes have a lateral line system, and many have better eyesight. Besides, the powerful-sense-of-smell thing is only true for some sharks.
