If financial gain is your goal, then absolutely petroleum engineering would be more lucrative. Agriculture can provide you with a decent living, and if it's where your heart lies, go for it, but if you're chasing the bucks, the petroleum industry is hard to beat.
Both so you can figure out how to grow pesticide/crops on fracked soil filthy with methane.
