cont'd: It is more likely that global warming would cause the world as we know it to end, but not the complete extinction of humanity. However, since recent events related to global warming are unprecedented, meaning that we've never in recorded history experienced them, we do not know exactly where global warming is going to lead us, other than in a negative direction with the severe climate changes like droughts and flooding and fires and heatwaves that have plagued the world recently... Exactly when and how things are going to become noticeably worse apparently hasn't been determined yet...
