When you dissolve the salt in an aqueous solution it exists as ions: cations and anions and thus form ionic bonds.

Table salt is NaCl. If you break that up you get the ions Na+ and Cl-. Obviously, this is a salt and is considered an ionic compound. B and C are also correct.
